Community at a university is inherently transient. Passing down embodied knowledge in such a place is a difficult but important project. Otherwise we risk losing the thread as we toil to uplift the communities The New School impacts, both actively and passively.
AIDS at The New School: What is Remembered? emerged from the simple desire to know how HIV/AIDS has shaped life, love, and work in this school over time.
What questions do you have? Where do the answers to your questions live? What do you wish to leave behind so that those asking questions in the future can find their answers?
Whether a memory, a thought, or a dream, you can share it via voicemail or text message by contacting 347-441-0401.
Submissions will be archived in The New School Archives and Special Collections alongside other assets from this exhibit.
Thank you.
